Purpose Avondcolleges

Tijdens de Purpose Colleges is het voor iedereen, van student tot zelfstandig ondernemer, mogelijk om op een laagdrempelige manier kennis te maken met de betekeniseconomie. Tijdens de colleges leer je van succesvolle en inspirerende ondernemers die al jaren lang ervaring hebben opgedaan op het gebied van maatschappelijk ondernemen, de uitdagingen die daarbij komen kijken en ook tips en tools hoe je zelf aan de slag kan gaan om impact te maken.

School for Change

De School for Change is hét kennis- en opleidingscentrum van Nederland op het gebied van innovatief leiderschap en transformationeel denken. Bij de School for Change wordt kennis verrijkt, inspiratie gecreëerd en actie ondernomen. 

Op de groene locatie bij De Groene Afslag te Laren, word je klaargestoomd tot een Leader for Change binnen jouw organisatie. Zowel online als offline delen thought leaders op hun veld van expertise en specialisme hun kennis als hoofddocent of spreker in Mastercourses en Masterclasses.

Valorisation Program

The Valorisation Program (together with Tilburg University) is for PhD-candidates who want to explore and accelerate the societal impact of their research. In a track of 6 months, PhD-candidates go on a personal journey with personal guiding, workshops and working. This, so they can create their own impact proposition, learn entrepreneurial skills, grow their network and learn how to communicate their research to organizations outside of academia.

Collectief voor Alternatieve Begroting

Het Collectief voor Alternatieve Begroting is een denktank van jonge denkers, die opnieuw kijken naar de huidige manier van begroten. Via een concrete begrotings casus en interviews met praktijk experts wordt in de praktijk van begroten gedoken. Wij denken op creatieve wijze na over welke waarden belangrijk zijn voor de maatschappij en logica van een begroting. Wij komen tot een alternatieve manier van begroten, die aansluit bij de waarden die nu en in de toekomst van belang zijn. 

Purpose Accelerator -Tackling Illiteracy

2.5 Million people in the Netherlands are functionally illiterate. This means an increasing dependency on others, lack of digital opportunities and reduced wellbeing. The municipality of Zoetermeer has formulated the ambition to tackle this complex societal problem.

The joint ambition is to contribute to the decrease of functional illiteracy in the municipality of Zoetermeer by improving the structural support system available.

Purpose Accelerator -Circular Health

Did you know that more than 7% of the Dutch CO2 emissions are caused by hospitals? With the large use of equipment and materials that are necessary to save lives, but at the same time causing damage in other ways.

This talented group focuses on the ICs in times of crises, where the use of product is at an all time high. They are researching this topic and trying to think of ways to make a ‘green IC’. Watch out for the results!

Impactvolle zaken

Impactvolle zaken is een reeks webinars waarin het fenomeen sociaal ondernemerschap vanuit verschillende invalshoeken wordt belicht: op systemisch niveau, op lokaal niveau, via familiebedrijven en samenwerkingen tussen sociaal ondernemers en corporates. De webinars zijn gratis beschikbaar gemaakt en een initiatief van THRIVE institute in samenwerking met Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland (RVO) en DuurzaamDoor.

Purpose Accelerator - Social Recruitment

Samenwerkingen tussen de gemeente en sociale ondernemers zijn niet vanzelfsprekend. Beide partijen hebben een compleet andere werk- en denkwijze. Dit biedt kansen, maar kan soms ook leiden tot miscommunicatie. Dit onderzoek in de Purpose Accelerator is gericht op de bevordering van de samenwerking op persoonlijk niveau, waardoor succesvolle samenwerkingen tussen sociale ondernemers en de gemeente vaker grootstedelijke problemen kunnen oplossen.

Post Growth as a business strategy: A Quest for Plan(et) B

A group of 5 talented PhD delve into the phenomenon of Post Growth as a new way for businesses to look at growth. Is endless growth the way to go? Or should successful growth be redefined in a way that it aligns with the boundaries and flow of people and planet? And what does that even look like? Over the course of one year, and with interviews with among others New Economy experts such as Katherine Trebeck, and companies such as Ahold Delhaize and Schiphol, this phenomenon was explored. Also giving you concrete action perspective to change directions yourself and become a post growth company.
