Career Swifters distinguishes itself from other career programs by being specifically focused on the needs of PhDs. This means being long- term focused rather than on ad-hoc processes and results. Additionally, the offer of hands-on coaching will lead to concrete action steps for the coachees’ unique profile and situation.
The outline of the program consists:
• Finding your professional purpose.
• Knowing different roles, you can fulfill and what kind of organizations there are.
• Pitfalls and strengths of young researchers.
• Creating a relevant network.
• Steps to take during the PhD to build a stronger track record for industry and government (extracurriculars: how and why).
• Develop a killer CV and online presence.
• Job application training and job crafting.
In addition to six two-hour intensive workshops, each participant receives two hands on personal coaching sessions for extra guidance in their journey.
